Kent's grandfather started the tradition back in the 40's. He worked at Coach Works, working on early motor homes and buses in Apache Junction, Arizona. Flash forward and little Kent was 6-7 years old working with his father on body work projects in their back yard. Kent moved from Kentucky to Tucson in 1983. He first worked at a body shop doing restorations of old muscle cars, high end Mercedes & Jaguars. After 3 years, he left to become the head painter at Holmes Tuttle Ford. During his 10 years there, he strived to and achieved very high customer service ratings and won employee of the month countless times. His attention to detail even won him employee of the year.
In 1996 he set out on his own bringing with him a lifetime of experience. He has trained his staff not only his attention to detail, but in good work ethics as well. He's now helped countess happy customers with their projects, and receives many customer referrals as a result.

Usually when you hear the term "body work" one usually first thinks of collision repair - Artistic Elegance specializes in ALL things body work, including classic vehicle restoration projects and all the prep work that needs to be done before finally painting.
Artistic Elegance specializes in repairs of major or minor fiberglass and metal repairs to vehicle body's caused by collisions and major accidents.
"After a run-in with a mesquite branch, I had a puncture in the skin of my travel trailer. In checking prices and timing of the repair with the advertised RV body work shops and RV sales repair shops, it was clear that Artistic Elegance was the way to go.
Most shops were non-committal on pricing. (One even used the excuse of possibly replacing parts when it was obvious it was a simple puncture). But Kent not only gave an estimate but gave the lowest of those I received. The estimates for repair time were just as nebulous, ranging from two-three weeks to one month. Kent and his team completed the job in the quoted four days. Kent was creative and modified the process to add a small paint strip to eliminate “blending”.
In for a penny in for a pound, I asked if he would also inspect the roof. Even though I noticed no obvious problems, he found a separation in the roof and the front panel. Once again his pricing and time frame were unbeatable, and he completed the job in less than two days from the arrival of the replacement panel. On his inspection of the interior he replaced the insulation, which had become ruined from rain leaking in). While I was prepared for the worst when Kent said they may need other pieces to properly repair the trailer, Kent and his team actually beefed up the structure at no extra cost. Before and after pictures show the quality of the job.
In summary: price, timeframe, up front honesty, results. The choice was clear."
"We are the proud owners of the ‘brand-new’ 2000 Affinity which Artistic Elegance created for us. We originally contacted Kent Budish in January 2014 about the Bus-Kote™ product. He was knowledgeable and genial. We made arrangements for a spring trip to Tucson. We subsequently noticed more peeling of our clear coat near the top and sides with chalky residue streaking down. Kent assured us that, too, could all be fixed. We left our coach for a complete original paint color plus graphics and Bus-Kote™ application...
...Kent and his crew took care to do a professional job with our entire coach exterior. Kent would text their progress, with pictures, throughout the process. We felt extremely comfortable. When we picked up our Country Coach a few weeks later, it was a different motor home. We were overwhelmed. Our home remains noticeably cooler as we travel in the hot summer months and it is easier to keep warm during the cold weather. The Bus-Kote™ did indeed affect the inside temperature.
We continue to admire our coach daily, whether we are travelling or viewing it parked by the house. Thank you, Artistic Elegance!"
Kent Budish is an honest guy! My husband & I own a 45 foot 2016 Monaco MotorCoach. We’ve just purchased the Coach which as a Demo Model and this is our first trip away from our home in Oklahoma. En route from Phoenix to Tucson we actually lost the skin off of one of the compartment doors. We called the factory in Decatur IN and they told us 8-12 Weeks and at an exorbitant price. We discovered Kent’s firm and he handled this unique challenge in a superb manner, working with us every step of the way.
We highly recommend this firm! They fabricated the metal frame, helped order the electric locking mechanism, overcame production engineering drawing disconnects, matched the paint expertly and delivered the coach repair within the time specified and well below expected cost. Plus, we feel we’ve made a new friend in Tucson!
A superb job in a stressful situation! We highly recommend Artistic Elegance for all MotorCoach Body Work!
"Laurie and I became associated with Kent (Artistic Elegance) over six years ago when we were fortunate enough to find him to repair our RV. His work, is without a doubt, the best I have ever found. Moreover, when you deal with Kent you find his warm personality, desire to please and accommodate you part of the service he provides. I would have no problem recommending Artistic Elegance to my friends in our retirement community for their motor homes, cars, and/or motorcycles. I simply feel I can trust him with my personal property and know that it will be done on time and in excellent condition."
"If you are looking to update or paint your motorhome, Kent Budish in Tucson is the best. I needed to replace the original stripping on our Monaco motor home. The common issue of sun deteriorating the color and clear coat just made the unit look bad. I talked a custom car painter, who painted our corvette, and he advised me to call Kent. He said that painting fiberglass motor homes was a special process and that he would not do it in his shop, even though he did high quality car painting. I did as he suggested and Kent made our Monaco look like new. I highly recommend you contact Kent if you want the job done right."
This truthful testimonial for Kent Budish and the crew at Artistic Elegance comes after my most recent involvement with a hit and run driver who nearly totaled my 2003 BMW convertible.
I have had this car for eleven years and have had a "wonderful ride"! I was extremely distressed over my insurance company's slow handling of my claim. Kent took the time to call my insurance adjuster and through his insistence my car finally arrived for repairs at Artistic Elegance. The car was more damaged than first thought however, with the wonderful and careful work of Kent, the car is back home with me, and we are once again "back on the road"! Kent kept me informed on a daily or weekly basis of how the work was going. I am so very pleased with the repairs but most importantly I am so impressed with the professionalism shown by Kent Budish.
"I recently visited Artistic Elegance to get an estimate on repairing some body damage to my Mazda MPV. The fine work was finished in a timely manner and a very reasonable cost. I would definitely trust Kent and his crew with any auto body work in the future."
