RV Repainted: 2014 Forest River Sierra

RV Repainting – 2014 Forest River: Clearcoat Stripped

Yesterday we posted the first pictures of a beautiful 2014 River Forest Sierra 5th wheel. The front cap has been battered by the weather over the years, and this beauty needs a bit of TLC.

• Paint peeling off
• Decals partially burnt
• Cracks in the fiberglass

Here is an update: you can see on this photo that we started to strip the clearcoat, and repaired the stress cracks.

When we finish stripping off the clearcoat, we’ll get the front cap into primer, then full factory-specs paint and color blending/matching, then new decals. Stay tuned!

As you can see on the photo, the front cap, once repaired, has been primed for paint and clearcoat. All the damage was repaired, including stress cracks in the fiberglass.

RV Repainted: 2014 Forest River Sierra is Back Home!

RV repainted, beautiful custom paint. This large RV, a 2014 Forest River Sierra, is now finished and back home. The lucky owner just posted a photo of it in his yard.

If you look at our previous posts, you will see the story of this job. The front cap had been battered by the weather over the years, and we brought it back to life!

As you can see on this photo, the front cap is completely painted and clearcoated, with no trace of the repairs we did (stress cracks).

The paint is color-matched to factory specifications. Instead of going back with the factory decals, the owner decided to have a custom paint job, which you see on the photo.

This 5th wheel has now the look of uniqueness!
