RV Frame Repair: 2021 Forest River Wolf Pack
Accidental Damages Inflicted to the RV
The slide room of this Forest River Wolf Pack was badly hit by another RV: windows broken and wall crushed in.
The shock was violent: the inner wall got broken, and the lower metal wrap damaged. It also badly damaged the aluminum inner structure which we had to take down.
Repair: Strengthening the Frame of the 5th Wheel
In the BEFORE shot, the orange arrow shows the bending of the vertical aluminum support bars. They had to be replaced. The pink arrows show the absence of vertical bars to support the frame better. We cut two and mounted them to strengthen the whole structure.
In the AFTER shot, the 2 central vertical bars have been replaced (blue arrow), and the aluminum structure has been strenghtened by 2 additional vertical bars cut to dimensions and mounted in the center of the openings (green arrows).
We also completely replaced the internal insulation foam, that had been also damaged in the shock.
This Forest River Wolf Pack 5th wheel is now ready to be walled back and painted, and the winodw replaced.
This is an excellent example of the body work we do: it’s not just cosmetic repair, but structural and internal repairs as needed.
If your RV has been damaged or shows signs of age, bring it over so we can examine it thoroughly.
