Mind you, forklifts are tougher than RVs. This beautiful 2007 Fleetwood Discovery was hit by a forklift, and the aluminum skin of the lower skirt had been badly bent. Paint was gone, of course.
The RV repair work consisted in straightening the skin, filling in the low spots, priming, repainting graphics with color matching, and clearcoating.
As you can see in the first (after) and second (before) photos, we did a pretty cool job at it, and this RV is now back on the road as if nothing ever happened.
Check out the other Fleetwood RV repair project below.
A Fleetwood RV repair and repaint job well done.
This ’99 Fleetwood Discovery was hit by a garbage truck! Not nice. Check out the third photo, that is the “BEFORE”. Lower front-end completely cracked. We removed the lower front cap and hood and proceeded with fiberglass repairs. Then we color-matched the paint, and primed-repainted-cleared this beauty.
Check out the 2nd photo to see the smooth finish of the front-end. Better than factory! The first photo shows the RV put back together, like nothing ever happened.
